  1. eagle black Said,

Thank you for all your hard work. I hope you get your hands on Tau empire as well. I would definitely want a XV88 standing on top of my table ready to fry anybody who comes near it.

  2. Daniel Said,

Sorry for taking to long on this guy! He is intense to built. I am still piecing him together. I hope to have some more done this week. Other than the fact that it will take some time to score, cut, glue and piece together he looks good. REAL good!

Daniel, It's cool, don't be sorry;) I had 4 other people doing test builds for me on this one and they said the model was good for release, but unfortunately they didn't send build pics. So no worries man

  7. niebie Said,

Hey BlueDragon, the guy from /po/ here. :)

Regarding the texture: there are those grayscale layers that the game combines to whatever colorscheme one selects in the army painter. The ones I found have the name "space_marine_unit_default_Weapon.tga" (also with Dirt, Eyes, Primary, Secondary, Trim instead of "Weapon"). I have them in 512x512 but maybe in Soulstorm they are in 1024x1024. If so it would be awesome if you could send them to me.

Also, quite a list you have planned there. I was also thinking about making an Ork next.

    Oh, my mail is: niebie(at)gmx.net

  8. BlueDragon Said,

Hey how's it goin? The textures I have are 512x512 the same as yours. I'm not sure why the resolution is different between the two. I use 3dripperdx to rip the models and it ends up renaming the texture files. I assume your using some sort of sga extractor to get the textures. If so which files did you find the textures in.

  9. niebie Said,

Yes I have them directly from a game data file (W40kData-SharedTextures-Full.sga). I think this one is used for the normal battles - maybe there's another texture archive for cut scenes or the army painter. In mine the textures for all the other possible in game weapons are in the same image. So a lot of space is wasted for stuff I don't need.

Ah nevermind. My model is smaller than yours anyway so its no too bad.

  10. Hi, I'm new to papercraft, and I don't see the differences between lines and no-lines model. Can you explain me ?

    Thanks.

  11. BlueDragon Said,

Didier, The difference between the lined and lineless version is one has fold lines on it and one doesn't. There are 2 types of fold lines, the one with dotted lines(------) is a mountain fold and the other is dotted and dashed lines(--.--.--) which is a valley fold.

Some people prefer to build the version without lines because the finished result looks better when there are no lines all over the model, they usually use the lined version for building purposes though so you know where the lines are supposed to be.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask;)
